Actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut was slapped by CISF personnel at the Chandigarh airport. Read on to learn why.

Actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut was slapped by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel has left everyone shocked. On Thursday, BJP MP Kangana was slapped during the security check by Kaur.
Kangana was travelling to Delhi by UK707. After the security check-in, when she was going towards the boarding gate. LCT Kulwinder Kaur CISF Unit Chandigarh Airport slapped her. After that, Mr Mayank Madhur who was also travelling with Ms Kangna Ranaut tried to slap Kulwinder Kaur
As ABP News reported, Kaur was upset with the actress' remarks during the Farmers' protest. However, as Hindustan Times reported, Kangana got slapped for pushing the security personnel after she refused to cooperate with her, and put her phone in the tray during security check. Kangana Ranaut left for Delhi at 3 pm on a Vistara flight. It is also reported that after the incident Kangana filed a police complaint and demanded strict action against Kulwinder.
This incident happened days after Kangana secured an iconic win from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh at the Lok Sabha elections. As per the Election Commission website, Kangana beat Congress' Vikramaditya Singh by 74,755 votes.
On the film front, Kangana will next be seen in her directorial Emergency. In the upcoming film, Kangana will play former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The movie also stars Mahima Chaudhry as Pupul Jayakar, Milind Soman as Sam Manekshaw, Vishak Nair as Sanjay Gandhi, Shreyas Talpade as Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and late Satish Kaushik as Jagjivan Ram. Emergency was originally scheduled for November 24, 2023, but it got pushed to June 2024. Last month, the makers announced that Emergency got postponed again because Kangana got occupied with the election campaign. The new release date of the film has not been announced yet.
