The right-hander had also played two U-19 World Cups in 2010 and 2012. He finally made his ODI debut in 2015 before eventually getting his maiden Test and T20I caps a year later. So far, Babar Azam has played 103 ODIs and 104 T20Is and scored 5202 and 3485 runs respectively. In Tests, Babar scored 3772 runs in 49 matches. He has 30 international hundreds across formats (18 in ODIs, 9 in Tests and 3 in T20Is). Babar was the second fastest to 2000 ODI runs and second quickest to 1000 T20I runs. With the ODI World Cup fast approaching Babar will play a crucial role in Pakistan's quest for second title.
